HomeQ Servicing Ripoff NOT posting payments or Late posting Charlotte North Carolina
We had gotten behind on payments and were placed on a forebearance ( catch up ) plan. We made every payment ON TIME by Western Union money transfer. We have our copies to prove it.
When the forebearance was paid up . We got a letter stating we still owed $860.00. We questioned it and were told our house payment had gone up $7.90 a month and that every payment we made was short that amount so late charges were added each month without our knowledge.
On may 8th of 06 I mailed two money orders totaling $1,825.50 to cover the "made up" late charges and to try and put that problem to rest. On May 24 06 , ( 16 days later ) I get another threatening letter stating that we still owe the $1,805.50 We called Western Union and were told the money orders were cashed on May 18th. Out of the 1800 some odd dollars it looks as if we were only credited for 20.00 of it!
California and North Carolina have no clue as to what the other is doing. I am sorry to see others are going through what we are, but I'm happy I can post what has happened .
