Homestead Protection Services, Ripped off by Mortgage Protection Services Maitland Florida
I was contacted by JR Kroll originally back in July to help with my foreclosure. He informed me that if I pay Homestead Protection Services 1473.00, which is one month mortgage payment, that their company has close relations with my mortgage company and that he could have all the monies owed added to the end of my mortgage. The 1473.00 is their fee for the services.
At first I was not sure so I checked them out with the BBB and they only had a couple of complaints, but even though I tried to work something out with my mortgage company. Prior to sending the money to Homestead Protection Services, my mortgage company was asking for 2500.00 to modify my mortgage. Then my payment for one year would be about 200.00 more a month. So as you can see when JR Kroll made me to believe that for 1473.00 I could have it all added to the end of my mortgage I decided to do this. This was towards the middle to end of August.
Once I had the money it was 09/17/2007 I sent the signed agreement and the 2 money orders equal to 1473.00. Then I was contacted by Jackie Rosado on 9/17/2007 by email (which I saved all emails) at this time she began working on my case. Then on 10/08/2007 she emailed me to tell me that my mortgage company wanted 3100.00 by 11/9/2007 and that starting 12/18/2007 for 3 months my payment would be 1849.29, then at that time I would contact my mortgage co and they would work out a new modification with me.
This really made me upset and I wished I would have just given my mortgage co 2500.00 and not had any dealings with this company since they were not honest. So just for the heck of it I called my mortgage co. and asked them what deal could they give me, well they told me the same offer that I paid 1473.00 to get. So at this point I was furious! Then when I tried to complain to Mrs Rosado, I got no where.
I complained to the BBB and The President Mr Mims was dishonest about dates and tried to say that they had worked on it for awhile prior to me giving them money. That is not true! I kept every single email that was sent back and forth just in case. If you need them I can provide them to you. So basically they have kept my money and they have not done anything that I couldn't have done myself.

Listen I am being real, I do not care if you are an employee or not. The company did cheat me and that is the bottom line. I went to the corporate office and worked it out for myself. You better believe now that I am good with my home I will be seeking an attorney to get my money back from the crooks that you work for!

There is no company in the world that is 100% successful. We have however saved many many homes. In some cases homeowners lie about the details of their situation. If we don't have all of the facts just like any one else, how can we be expected to be successful. Be real ma'am.
