and then trying to stiff the merchant with an impossible to re-sell item..Not too honest on the OP's part.

Characteristics such as set screw marks, motor housing bolts being bent and even mud on the frame would prevent us from either putting the motor back on our shelf or returning it to the manufacturer. This is why we did not give the customer a refund.

Part was not special order, True Value had this A /C motor in stock and still did not honor the refund policy. Total waste of time and money

If I read your rambling report correctly, you bought it 3/31 and attempted to return it 4/1.
Is it their stated return policy, that no refunds after 7 days?
If so, what reason did they give for not accepting the return?
Again, was this an ordered item or in stock?
