Honda Financial was more than fair. I use to work collections and I can tell you not only would I have had the car repo'd sooner than they did but I would have also got things rolling for a judgment and looked at garnishing for the deficit after the car was sold at auction.
If the customers are garnishable 20% of the disposable income (amount after taxes) would be going to pay off the remaining balance. In a state where both spouse are responsible for the debt I would garnish the one who makes the most income.

Already with the "retard" and the this and the that name calling bullcrap. Easy to see why you and your wife are a couple of craphead losers who can't, or WON'T, pay your dad blasted debts.
Go ride tricycles to your jobs, if you have any to ride to. Just don't finance the trikes. Or maybe Rent-a-Center will rent them to you.
Oh, some suggestions if you care to boost this thread towards superstar status and eventual consideration for the best thread of 2012:
1: Add some "turd" comments along with the "tards".
2: Spice up the insults with some restroom functions.
3: Drop in some dubious references to less than legitimate birth.
4: Add a pinch of private area body part vulgarities.
And please, don't forget to have a wonderful life together, or aprt, as y'all see fit.

I see that you have provided some sales figures which may or may not be correct. However, this does not tell anyone that Kia is the best built car anywhere. Like a politician, you answered a different question from what was asked. Doesn't mean a thing.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE CIRCUMSTANCES STAY OUT THEN SIT THERE AND SHUT THE H**L UP, AND LEARN TO SPELL MORON "
Also, you originally posted how much your wife loved the Honda and cried when they took it.
Now you post the Honda was a POS. Do you have trouble keeping track of your OWN posts?
I have helpfully underlined a few of your little literary screw ups, above.
If you want to criticize others, YOU should do a better job of posting.
BTW, I know how to spell "moron," see.....M-O-R-O-N! Did I do okay?
Oh, and WHERE did you get the info that the 2011 Kia Forte is the best built vehicle in the U.S.?
Care to enlighten us? Was this at Consumer Reports, J.D. Powers...who, exactly?

As far a sub prime lender, Again Mr Knowitall , your wrong again.
- Dealers deal with all types of lenders including "sub-prime" lenders, in fact you can search this site where people got a sub-prime loan from a major "dealer". I would bet that if you searched this site you may find a few reports on how your new lender treat people who are delinquent...and yes this includes people who can not make a full payment.
The reason well it is because the lender does not care about your circumstances. They care about the thousands of dollars they loaned you so that you can purchase a car. How can I say this, well because it really doesn't matter what lender you are with. Lenders are in the business of loaning money, they are not charities.
We went to a dealer and did not get a used driven piece of s**t like honda gave us
- That's funny because according to your original post your wife loved the car and it was even better than any 2011 you could get. In fact one of your complaints was that because your wife loved it so much you were upset when they wouldn't give you the dignity to return it on your own.
Back to a comment from your original post
Screw Honda, com'on I am ready and will win this battle
- You may have won a battle in getting a new car, but the fact is that does not change that you may loose the war.
Honda has the legal right to go after you for the deficiency balance. They won't bother coming to your house. They will just send you to collections, and may eventually sue you. In court you will probably loose. If you loose they have other legal options they can take. Depending on your state this is may be garnishing your wages, attaching your bank account, or placing a lien on your property.
But you may not have even won the battle. I doubt you will tell us but why not tell us the terms of the loan you got.

You posted your pathetic story in a public forum, therefore inviting all comers to comment as all see fit to comment.
You don't like it, next time don't buy things you can't afford.
Screw you and your wife's dream car.
There are people who come here crying about loans they got into hot water with, who at least had legitimate reason to feel they could pay when they took them out, until a mess of circumstance tripped them up.
Others, whether blameless or not, are trapped dealing with voracious sharks like Ocwen, who suck the blood and life (literally) out of people, even when their borrowers pay on time.
But YOU! You just wanted wifey to have her precious DREAM CAR!
ONE MONTH IN and a sudden change in income was enough to render you unable to meet your obligations. That means you couldn't afford it in the first place.
They work with you, for however long they did, which was more than they had to, and you have the utter unforgivable balls to come here and blast them?
So take your potty mouth (or keyboard, as it were) and shove it up your tailpipe, and have a wonderful, loser life.

When I made my first comment, I hadn't really paid a lot of attention to the timeline. My jaw dropped open when I re-read this and saw that you purchased the car in May and by June you couldn't make your payment. So, what I am reading is that you never, ever made a full payment. Correct me if I am wrong. I am amazed that you kept the car as long as you did.

The sheer incredible arrogant sense of entitlement you have flabbergasts me. I actually have a hard time believing this is not a joke bullcrap report.
Go buy another old crap box like whatever car you owned before, one that you can actually afford. Don't expect the rest of humanity to subsidize your wife's dream car. For every deadbeat who stiffs Honda Financial, other Honda customers end up paying.
It might be nice to own a 2006 Honda, but nobody MUST have one. Find a 1996 or 1993, etc in the classifieds.
This report is actually a testimony to how Honda bent over backwards to give y'all a break for some time. Most other lenders would have towed the car away after the 1st half payment was made. You signed a contract for a loan you clearly couldn't afford except under unrealistic best case scenarios, without any margin for error or income reduction. You were irresponsible. Now you've paid the price.
No ripoff here.

This is a typical ingrate attitude. Honda worked with you WAY longer than most would. Have fun getting your next loan through a sub-prime lender. They'll repo your car the day after the payment is due.

They "worked" with you as long as they could. You failed to bring the account up to date, they picked up the car...nothing illegal, immoral, unethical or unusual here.
There are ZERO provsions in the contract for sickness. You are on the hook for the payment unless your heart stops beating. Those are the cold hard facts of life in the world of credit.
Since you knew you were under this obligation, why did you not get a part time job to increase your cash flow?
Again, here's this notion credit/contractual obligations are "flexible" or "optional"...that any excuse or reason is acceptable when clearly they aren't.
No, I don't work for them.
