Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I ended up purchasing a Honda Civic LX for around $22,000 when all is said and done the car will have cost me around $28,000. Stupid me, I didnt really read what I was signing because I was being rushed through the process of finance by some finance manager who stated that she was this so called "grandmother" who felt so good about giving a young couple having their first baby a great deal. Some break, the cost of the car was $4000 over what I should have paid for it.

I did purchase the car at night so seeing any dings or problems with the car was a problem. I'm a Registered Nurse in Las Vegas and I work 12 hr shifts so I was unable to see the car in the daytime for a couple of days after I purchased the vehicle. It was my day off so I decided to inspect the car, what I had found was the car had some dings and the front fender molding was coming off.

I decided to get my father who is a double master mechanic to inspect the car, my father explained that he figured the car was previously owned because the car had pin striping and 332 miles on it, this made sense to me because I believe pin striping does not come standard in these kinds of vehicles.

I was pretty disgusted with the car so I decided to take the car back to HONDA West and see if I could get my money back or at least what I had paid for, a replacement brand new car.

The general manager came to me with this smug look on his face and said "How can I help you" I explained that I was not happy with the car and I would like my money back or at least a replacement. He explained to me that he couldn,t do this and that they would "FIX" my brand new car.I wasn't very happy and I asked him to just please give me my money back or at least give me another car. The General manager looked at me and stated, that "THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO AND WHETHER I WAS HAPPY OR NOT, IT DIDN'T MATTER" and he walked away. I was totally shocked that a company would hire a total jack off like this general manager to run their business, I mean do they not care about customer retention?

I warn anyone who is thinking about buying a vehicle at HONDA WEST, take your money some where else and save yourself the frustration and money.

It,s been years now since I bought the Honda civic from honda west. What's funny is I have never forgotten how they treated me at Honda west in las Vegas. Ive paid off the honda civic long ago and have recently traded in the civic for a 2012 fully loaded Honda pilot touring from Finley Honda. This company has so much more class than Honda west. I may have been just one customer to Honda west that they lost but I'm a customer that just bought a $ 40,000 vehicle from another dealership. I guess Honda west needs to learn how to do buisness! Dumba**es

Michael, The vehicle is a new car if it has never been titled or has less than 6000 miles on it. If the purchase price was $22000 you have to pay tax, title, registration etc. You are only paying $4000 in interest over the term of the loan which means you got a pretty good interest rate. The miles on the car could be from test drives. A dealer where I live let me take a car I was interested in home overnight to drive and make sure it worked for my family. I must have put 100 miles on the car by the time I got back to the dealer. It sounds to me that you had buyers remorse and the dealer did nothing wrong. There is not a 3 day right of recision in most states, the only way that happens is if they brought the contract to you. Remember you solicited them, picked out the car, test drove it ( I Hope) and then signed all the paperwork. You get the attitude you give.

I have been in auto sales for almost six years and I have worked for the company in question and I would like to help explain. Most people believe it or not do not understand how borrowing money works. If you borrow 22000 dollars from a bank you will pay them that money back plus interest. In this case the interest is 4000 dollars for a total of 26000 dollars. It's easy to figure out multiply the number of payments by the payment then subtract it from the total figure of the car. (Don't forget to add the taxes to the total figure.) As far as the miles I do understand you father is well-trained mechanic but it's not that hard to figure out the miles on it. You should have noticed it when you drove it. (It's literally right in front of you.) The miles can be explained by many reasons it could have been driven by a manager or some test drives but it does not make it a used car. The warranty will start from what ever is stated on the contract if it says 350 miles then you have 350 extra miles. It does not mean it's used. The pin stripe is what is known as a dealer add. We do this to set ourselves apart from the rest of the dealers. Think of it as window tint, not all dealers put it on but if two dealers had the same car for the same price but one had tint or a pin stripe what would you choose? People need to understand that cars are not like most products you can't just return them after a few days of driving. Buyer's remorse is not a reason to return a product. Besides I'm sure any car buyer has sat in a dealership for a few hours before they went home in their new car. Why didn't you think about your purchase before you signed?
