LOL i had the worst day at work and reading your report just made my day!!!! LMAO I can't stop laughing! You signed the credit card receipt....and now you want $75 back??? LOL I'm in tears! First of all....lay off the beer. If you did that then maybe you wouldn't see double and would actually see what you are signing! You have no case! You signed the credit card receipt for the full amount!!!! Why would you do such a stupid thing and THEN ask for the money back??? And then you write on here that you were ripped off....WOW what a joke!!!!! The waitress enjoying her $75 tip...yep because of your stupidity! You will NEVER see that money again and i feel so good for the waitress because you failed as a consumer! You displayed what I call "airheadedness..." You gave your credit card, it was swiped, and you signed. Now you want to dispute, call the Manager, call people rude...all for your ignorance! You signed your name to a charge that was invalid! And you want to blame everyone and their mother for it....that needs to stop! Blame yourself! Why would you sign for something that is not valid? Can you read numbers? If so where is your validation? Lay off the booze and take responsibility for your actions as a consumer. If you can't then there's always Alcoholics Anononymous for support :-P

Always check your receipt before leaving the restaurant. Once you sign on the dotted line, you are in effect agreeing to the charge as well as the terms and conditions of your credit card payment agreement, and you cannot dispute the charge with your credit card company later. Lesson learned. Have you considered going back to Hooters to talk with your waitress directly? Perhaps a little face-to-face discussion could immediately clear up any "misunderstanding" ..

No, because any time I go out I count my change five times cause I happen to like my hard earned money." Then these girls would have had to modify the "total" field on the receipt unless this customer didn't fill it out. She should also have had a copy for her own records.

You certainly do not deserve any refund at all because as a consumer, its your responsibility to clearly read everything you sign. You shouldn't expect people to be honest with your money just because its their job.
