Beware of Lori Hoover, Hoover Acres, huggable puppies and pampered puppies. They are puppy brokers, not breeders. They broker puppies for Amish farmers in and around the Lagrange IN area. They have multiple accounts on puppyfind to prevent you from realizing how many different breeds they are marketing. This is an incomplete list of breeds they sell: Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Huskies, Malamutes, Golden Retrievers, Akitas, Burmese Mountain dogs, Boxers, Newfoundland’s, and Cane Corsos.

Veterinarians do not administer vaccinations or worming, and while they say they take puppies to a vet to get a health examination that by no means is a proclamation of health, it simply means that at that moment the puppy had no obvious symptoms of any diseases. They provide a health guarantee which when you read it excludes any possible health issue that a puppy might have. The puppies they broker have been exposed to giardia and parvo virus to name a few.

There are more than 15 complaints on Ripoff.com And Scamity.com. Search for yourself before buying a puppy form this person. Save yourself and your family the heart ache of losing your new best friend days after purchase. Ask to see the parents of the litter, ask to see Rabies vaccination certificate on the parents. Ask to see where the puppies are kept. Look at the name under breeder on the AKC papers, it will not be Lori Hoover. If she says she is the co-owner of the litter, she would have to sign the AKC papers as well. You have no idea where or how your new puppy was cared for because while her home is lovely, your puppy was not raised there. I don’t want what happened to us happen to a single other person

This buyer failed to take his pup to the vet in the alotted time frame.  Our health guarantee says 72 hours and if notified we alow a week.  They did not take their pup to the vet until 12 days later and then want to blame me becuase their pup contacted a virus while in their own care.  Blaming the breeder is just an easy target since they failed to take care of thier own pup.   Reguardless of thier neglect, I asked if there was anything I could do to help the situation and they said no.  Then a week later call me on the phone and curse at me, call me names no women should ever be called and threathened to post every where they could like this forum.

This buyers info is false and fabricated.  They were neglectful in taking care of their new pup and want to blame the breeder for their mistake in judgement.  Contracting anything 12 days after purchase is clearly from the buyer's own doing.
