Horizon Technologies solicited me on August 21, 2006, by phone.

This call was followed up with another phone solicitation on Aug 22, 2006.

I was pressured into an agreement ( because we have to do it now ) on the evening of August 22, 2006.

On August 29, 2006, I was again solicited and pressured for further advertising ( because we have to do it now ). I was promised by Allen Aron on August 29, 2006 a mailing of 4000 advertising post cards. Advertising by distribution of post cards to start in the Month of Sept 2006. I requested sample of the cards that was to be mailed. The company Never complied. The promise was for distribution of 1000 cards in Sept, 1000 in Oct, 1000 in Nov, and 1000 In Jan 2007. I paid $4000 for these 4000 mailers which were never sent.

I tried following up and communicating with my coach Ty Sparks for 10 days on email and phone call. Finally got and answer from Ty after the 4th email on October 2. Ty confirmed that none of the cards were ever sent in September.

On October 3, I requested to terminate agreement because of lack of performance on the part of Horizon Technologies. Requested a full refund because of promises made by Horizon technologies were broken and there was never any follow-up.

Furthermore, a GPS unit was promised on August 21 as part of the sales pitch. The sample GPS unit was paid for but never received.

On October 4, 2006 I told credit Card Company of the non-delivery problem and requested a return of all funds to my account.

The solution to this dispute is for a complete refund of $6249.00 to me by crediting my credit card.

#6Consumer Suggestion

Wed, December 27, 2006

similar products abound on the internet and (surprise, surprise) they are sold directly to the consumer, not by website subscription or by direct mail AND (surprise again) they are cheaper than the unit these guys are peddling, even though you can find similar looking and performing units (same manufacturer, maybe?)
I guess the thing to do the next time someone bends your ear over a too good to be true product is to search the web to see how many other people are selling the EXACT SAME THING at a more reasonable cost than you would have to sell your product, since they don't wholesale the things to you, you just peddle them on their behalf via web and mail, giving you no control over the cost or quality of service.
