Horizon Carpet Cleaners This is a company that litterally robs you. I wish I had read reports from Rip-off or Better Business. Sarasota, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Florida
I wish I had read the reports from Rip-off or Better Business before contracting this company. I read some of the reports afterwards and feel ashamed that I let these guys bamboozle me like they did. After a call to the "Boss", I got a discounted "Life Time" guarantee price of $150.00. I never felt safe while they were in my 2 bedroom condo. When they asked for a $3 "trip" charge I paid it so they would leave. Three weeks later I noticed my carpets in the back bedroom which I rarely use, had very large stains, in many places, resemblying urine. When I called the company, they informed me that it was past the 2 week complaint time frame. I asked for the manager, but of course, "Mr. Green" was unavailable and never returned my phone calls. My carpets are ruined and need to be replaced. My $6.95 cleaning is ending up costing me a lot more than if I had gone with a better known company. Horizon does not stand by their service, have no ethics and in fact the Sarasota number which I had called to contract them was no longer in service three weeks after their cleaning! Florida residents beware.
