Horizon Electronics Andy, David Tims Over 300 days late on paying Port Richey, Florida
In December of 2009, David Tims at Horizon Electronics called me and asked if I could work at one of their customers sites for a down voice mail system. I said yes and they contracted me to go and do the work. After I was doing the work at the USMC Base in Joliet, IL. I sent Horizon the invoice. In March 2010, I received another call from David Tims at Horizon to go back to the USMC Base for a different problem. I told David that I would be happy to if they would pay me for the work done in December. David put me in touch with Andy who said he was the CFO of Horizon Electronics. Andy proceed to tell me "times are hard and customers aren't paying as fast as they were". I told him I could understand that and that I would work with him. I told him if he would agree to make payment on all work done and work to be done, that I would go do the job for him. He agreed and said he would send me $600 by the end of the week and the balance in two weeks. I went to the USMC Base and fixed their problem, then I sent Horizon the invoice. It is now January 2011 and after all my call, faxes and emails to try and collect payment, I still have not heard from anyone at Horizon Electronics. I talked to a couple of vendors in the same business that Horizon has done the exact same thing to. Lesson Learned! Do Not Do ANY Business with Horizon Electronics.

I can vouch for that..David Tims is a "Partner" in Horizon Electronics but has NO control over people getting paid. Andy DeSimone is the owner and is the Biggest Shyster I have ever met. He SCREWS everyone! and has since 1994. Locally he`s been through every single installer in the Tampa Bay area and has screwed every single one of them, He`s screwed every vendor with "Bad Checks" for supplies and equipment and has been on a COD basis with all of them for years! Several vendors have cut ties with him Completely! and won`t even take his CASH! The phone in that office is ringing constantly from Techs all over the country wanting their money and he gives all of them the same old song and dance. I honestly don`t know how that man has not got his *** Beat. The office is a "Pigsty" ashtrays overflowing with cigarette butts and empty beer bottles in the garbage cans that are overflowing and haven`t been emptied in weeks! Avoid this place like the plague..
