Statrted having yearly service checks on my air conditioners and furnaces. Yesterday the furnaces were to be cleaned and inspected for problems. Last chesk they said I needed new ignighters. ( found out today by my second opinion person that they rarely need replaced. I was told yesterday I was told I had cracked heat exchange units on both furnaces. Second opinion was no not there. It was suggested that I get replacement parts at around 5316$$ or replace me furnaces for 7000-11000 per furnace. Come to find out my furnaces have a life time guarantee and they should have known this.
Plus if I had needed new onew I could have them done for more then half of the amount quoted. One of my furnaces was not even cleaned and parts not tightened so the smell of gas was there. They also had a second person come and "verify" the problem. I may be a b***h but I am not a dumb b***h! I called to talk to a manager and got the run around by the girls answering the phones. Seriously I would not recommend them to anyone. I was a sucker last year for letting them talk me into ignighter. My second opinion person also guarantees his services and he saved me a ton of money.
