I obtained a Civil Judgment against Jim Browning on February 25, 2014. Anybody can go to the Gaston County Courthouse and run his civil record and find the various judgments against Mr. Browning which now include one from me. Also criminal records are public record, those can be checked out, you would need to run one from Florida also. One of my horses is a registered appaloosa mare with a triple cross brand, she had won ribbons at the World Show and many ribbons at various other shows. She is the most versatile horse, loving to children and anybody could ride. My other mare was raised by me from a baby, she is the first baby I ever raised and she is a black/white paint and beautiful. I have my own small farm with no need to board horses nor would I have boarded an hour and half way from my home. Neither horse was for sale or trade. The only reason why I leased them to start with is because I had surjery and couldn't ride for a long period of time, I thought I doing the right thing to let little kids ride them when I couldn't ride them. If I had only known how dangerous leases are I would have never leased them. I now go on sites and warn people about off site leases and how dangerous that is. It was a hard lesson learned. People have a choice here they can either heed the warning or they can check it out themselves.

It saddens me to see these false alligations littering the internet. This individual has gone out of their way to hurt the people of HorsePlay. My daughter and I have been boarders at this stable for more than 12 years. We love Jim and Laura Browning. They care for our horses like they are their own. My daughter was taught to ride by Jim Browning. We have had all of birthday gatherings there. Over the years I have seen Mr. Browning train horses, and riders to become one. Sharing a bond, and learning to trust and love eachother.
Me and my family are fully aware of this person making the alligations. We know what happened with the ponies she wanted to trade horses for. Jim helped her. This slick individual came back after two years of not paying for the horses board and or feed, or even stopping by or call to see how they were, decided she wanted the horses back. I understand the power of the "Freedom of Speech" Act. But there is not a "Freedom to Lie" Act. I wish this woman would just crawl away finally.
