I called the number (I thought was Quality Inn - Anderson, IN). I talk to a lady that is making my reservations. She asked me about my pet's weight and said she was giving us all the discounts and would be cheaper than anything I could get myself. She told me the final price and I agreed.

I get to the hotel and the first thing that happens is I get a call from the manager and he asks if I have a pet. I stated yes. He hangs up and then I get another call stating my credit card was declined. I said the room was already paid for and I have the receipt. I then hung up and called my bank which stated the $114.xx and the $21.99 have been approved. I figured the $21.99 was the pet fee.

I call the front desk and tell them the card has been run and the money taken.

 

I go to the front desk later and was told the pet fee was not paid and I still owed $15.00. I called the 888 number and was then told they do not collect pet fees. The $21.99 was for them booking the hotel for me. I then said, then why did you act like it did. Why not tell me up front that you are not collecting the pet fee. When I asked her if my room was paid and that it included the pet fee, she stated yes. He was ver condenscending and told me their policy is not to let us know that the pet fee is not included, and they are not obligated to even let on that it isn't, even when asked.

 

I could have saved at least $36.99 by doing it myself.

 

This company is a complete scam and will not honor what they tell you on the phone.
