Hotwire.com fraud bogus map Internet
I've used hotwire before when staying in Chicago with decent results. My family is planning a cross country trip this summer, and I booked several hotels with hotwire. It was a little disconcerting that the hotels they were ranking as 3 and 3.5 stars were really 2 stars. However, I realized it was a gamble I was taking booking through hotwire. When I got to Nevada, I chose an area south of the strip, in an area where there are no casinos. The hotel was ranked as a 3.5 star. I booked the room for two nights, with kids listed. They put me in a casino west of the area I selected. Hotwire doesn't want to make it right. I'm to the point I don't even care about the money. The more bad press they get, the better. I've filed a report with the BBB, and continue to respond to hotwire's responses to the bbb complaint. I encourage everyone that has a problem with hotwire to go to the bbb's website and file the complaint. Let it hurt their rating.
