In November of 2011, I met with
David, co-owner of the House of Stone and Tile, and he quoted me a price on the installation of my laminate hardwood floors.
I was quoted that the job would be completed in 3 days and that installation of the floor
would be guaranteed for 3 years.
Me and my family of 5 had to wait for
a total of 6, almost 7, days for the job to reach 98% completion. What was exhausting was that during the installation period I would leave several voice messages to
David (and the
House of Stone and Tile office) indicating several areas that needed to be tended to, but never received a return call until it was time to pay him the remaining balance.
We agreed that I would pay the final balance with an understanding that he would complete the rest of the job within the next couple of days (a concrete date and time was set).
On the expected date and time, the crew along with
David was no where to be found. I continued by
calling and leaving several messages with the
House of Stone and Tile office, and his personal cell.
Finally the job was completed. Several months later, some of the boards started to pop up and separate. I then called the office, and David's cell phone, to setup a time and date to have the problem fixed (this was in April of 2011).
A month later, and counting, and after several messages and calls to both the House of Stone and Tile office, and David's personal cell, my
floors still remain in shambles (technically unfinished). David, with the
House of Stone and Tile will promise you the world, but will not deliver.
He has setup dates and times and failed to show up each time. Be careful with this company....
I am still waiting to have my floors repaired and its May 9,2011.
