Household Bank HSBC Card Services Do not bank with this bank if you are a normal person Internet
If you are a decent person and are not completely desperate please do not use this bank. I am a new immigrant to the US and as part of building my credit applied for a HSBC Credit Card, thinking it was the global bank HSBC from Asia. Well imagine my surprise when the material arrived and it was this bank called Household Bank. Anyway they gave me a massive $300 credit limit. I had the card for 3 months and had it declined about every 3rd transaction. They sent me a bill and I overpaid by $170, well what a complete absurdity. They told me I could not access the overpayment until I had used up all of the credit, which I nearly did. I had $9 of credit left and I tried to pay for parking for $10, it got declined. I rang and got another story. This call centre in India gave me a different answer every time I asked. I closed the account. These people should not have a license to operate. What is the government doing about shoddy operaters like this. No wonder this country faces the issues it does today, there is no common sense left here.
