Like many up to now, I know that I'm not alone. Household Finance has manipulated there customer's to a point that it is unethical that people be treated this way. I have the same situation that I am paying high interest on a first mortgage and a Line of Credit without knowing if the balance is going down.

In the time of the country being able to offer lower interest rates, it is hard for people like me with this negative situation to turn my finances around. I continue to try and keep up with my bills, but for how long??? The settlement that Household has agreed to is a slap in the face for those many that have or will not be able to live the American Dream. If the right thing to be done is to exploit Household Finance for what they truly are, Loan Sharks!!! In America this kind of thing should not happen, but it has.

Household change your business tactics, the American Consumer is coming, the American people are watching, America is going to slap you in the Face!!!

I've been in touch with ACORN, I hope they can help.

In addition, I contacted my local HFC Branch and asked if it was possible with the Settlement at hand has HFC able to refinance me at a lower rate, they said they had a new program called ARP, they would look at my situation, I said I would get back with them.

With all the money they made from screwing people, I think they can afford much more than $484 million, they should be liable to lower all of the current customers rates, buy homes for those who have lost theirs.

HFC get with the program, America is coming after you and the nest one who screws with the American Dream
