I purchased this recliner for $300+; approx. $30 is shipping.

When I got the product it was difficult at best to assemble. The locking handles for this recliner do not funtion appropriately. If I return the product to HSN it will cost me another $30 plus my time to unassemble and repackage. For the amount of money I have paid for this product HSN should reimburse me approx. $150 for my pain and suffering and the lack of proper funtion of the product. This product is made by Homedics. I haven't filed a complaint here for them as I have not yet had a response from my email to Homemedics. I haven't filed a formal complaint with HSN as yet but I have sent two 'reviews' of the product and they have not yet contacted me and probably will never contact me.

Good luck!

I would imagine you made the purchase with a credit card, right? File a dispute for the total amount including shipping. The reason for dispute should be DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. Do this right away. Then the merchant will have to contact YOU for resolution, or reverse the entire charge. At this time, tell the merchant that they need to have the item picked up at their expense. They have an account with UPS or Fedex and can do this easily at no cost to you.
