Hughesnet consumers beware I have had their "High Speeed GEN4" service since May. I am fed up disgusted and running away. I did research on the company over the weekend 9/6/2014-9/8/2014. To no surprise everything I found on them is negative up to and including the reports i have read on "RIP OFF REPORT". This "company" is very misleading and the "service" is HORRIBLE!! I live in a remote area and I have in and out service out more than in most days I have called and called to rectify the "problem" they instruct me what to do as if I am an idiot telling me "every thing on our end shows you should have good service and that its operational" NOT !!! So it still takes forever to load anyhting or do anything. I have read too many negative things on them to even think of trying to resolve any issues with them from their unwillingness to cancel refund taking money out of accounts etc. I have taken measure to insure they cannot do that to me proir to my cancelling the service in a few days from now. Their Early Termination Fee may go on my credit or it may not as I see it they breached their contract by not providing the service promised and that will be what I tell them when I cancel service. Its of no matter either way I am cancelling service. They dont inform you that you are timed, or that other peoples devices will use your data or that your antivirus or malware applications use it or your computers automatic updates use it or that your "data packgae" is split between hight and day. I feel this "company" should be shut down and put out if business.
