hughesnet Hufghes net is a pure rip off. I can't even log into facebook with this garbage service. My bill w3ent from $60 to $100 with no explanation. This is a case of false advertising to the fullest. They offer 15Mbps. This doesnt even seem possible because I cant even get a web page to load. I simply wanted to disconect my service because of how aweful it is, but they want to charge me $350 to disconect their garbage internet. Something needs to be done about this company and their false advertising, bait and switch. Nationwide
Hughesnet is a bait and switch company. I have their service and it is so aweful that I can not log onto facebook most days. my bill started out at $60 a month and misteriously made its way up to a $100 a month with no explanation. I've contacted the company multiple times to try and get them to send a technitian out to see if there is something wrong with the system. They refuse to send someone out everytime I contact them. My internet service gets worse and my bill goes up. They are running your standard run of the mil bait and switch scam. Someone needs to look into this company that I am sure is ripping off many Americans.

file a compliat with ic3 also the federal trade commission an the attorney generals office in your state the federal goverment put out a hand book at no charge you can order on line at www.usa.gov the name of the book consumer action hand book.
