Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Hughesnet should be the subject of a class-action lawsuit. Its sales representatives misrepresent facts including, but not limited to, the quality of service and the pricing. I do not know how many people experience what I have been experiencing, insofar as the connection speed and the modem rebooting every 10 minutes, but I can't imagine it not being a nationwide problem. I recently spoke with a Hughesnet representative, who happened to be in the Philippines, about upgrading my service, since I had purportedly went though all of my allowed mb within 6 days from it being refreshed (a lie).

The representative told me I would have access to the additional speed within 15-20 minutes. I later received an email from Hughesnet stating that the upgrade would only be available between the hours of 2-8 a.m. Seriously! I informed Hughesnet that I was canceling my service at which time they told me I would be charged a $250 cancellation fee. Not only is this unconscionable, it's exploitative. Why would I pay $250 for nothing? I believe that Hughesnet should be made a party to a class-action lawsuit, and investigated by the FCC and FBI.

Do Not Use Their Service Under Any Circumstances

Class Action Against HughesNet

It's not about getting back the money anymore.  ALL of the internet providers lies about their services but there are a few who really NEED to have lawsuits against them to shut them down....Hughesnet is top of the list, Dish and Direct TV are also on the list.  As a consumer we must band together and BUNDLE ALL of these reprobate companies into a class action lawsuit.

I don't care what the lawyers make....they also make the laws protecting these extortionists.  So let them make the money I say, but shut their (HugheNet and the rest) services down or force them to change policies with a suit.

Extortion and lies is how business is done in America today but WE the PEOPLE CAN Stop it if we get together as a whole and scream into their ear with social media and TV.  Make it public, make the problems known with emails to newslines, TV, social media, and jam their behinds up.  If all of us who have been affected and ripped off make ourselves known....become a pain in EVERYONE's butt....it WILL change!

Forget the money....we will never see a dime most likely but THESE liars CAN be forced to do honest business or shut down.

Anyone who can make a YouTube video....do so and post it often....anyone who can post it on any social media should post it daily....stating that these businesses be boycotted to start.  THEN we can find a lawyer who will file.

For me its about changing how these and many other businesses DO business.!!!

From class action suits are the lawyers - you would be lucky to get 10.00 bucks!
