Ordered a platform bed for our daughter over the phone on Oct 31, 2014 -  told them we needed it as soon as possible and James said he would note that on our order(We were not paying for expedited shipping). Since the bed we were ordering was made in our same state, and only an hours' drive away, I asked if it would be coming from there, vs coming from their office in CA which would of course take more time, and not make sense.  He said it would most likely be shipped from the city in our state, and when I asked how long it would take to get the item I was told probably 5-10 days. That seemed ok and we ordered the bed. I asked questions about quality, returns, possible damage en route, when our card would be charged, etc. basically all the things you are supposed to ask when you order something.

Well here it is 21 days since I ordered, and still no bed nor any idea of when it will be here. The tracking # given us never worked, and we are always being told it should be here "next week", and they "are working on it". They also said that they don't charge your credit card until it ships, but we found they charged us 3 days before it shipped. They claim this delay is due to a mistake by the shipper (it was NOT shipped to us direct from the manufacturer after all) but when we have asked for calls back, we never get them and have asked to speak to a supervisor, but told none are available, etc. 

Because our daughter needs a bed NOW, we have asked them to cancel the order and refund to our card, but we got the same statement as the previous reporters on here: we will have to pay re-stocking, return shipping, etc. They did not explain that if they screwed up my order I would have to pay this, and I'm not going to. After reading the negative reviews about the misrepresented merchandise, I am not wanting it now anyway, as it probably is not the good quality he assured me it was. We have opened up a dispute file, and will be contacting the BBBas well.
