Hung Far Low Restaurant, On A Rampage towing vehicles to get a commission fromthe towing company Portland Oregon
Do not park anywhere behind the Steinhaus in Portland Oregon. If you love the blues, then the owner Neil chan will tow your vehicle, he is on a rampage towing vehicles. My car was towed close to midnight on January 1, 2009. It cost me a whopping $212.00 for a 2.8 mile tow to the tow yard. It was done in the middle of a severe snow storm leaving me with no id, purse, money, cellphone, or any house keys! They let me wait in a friends vehicle to get my car back for over an hour. I didnt know if they would come back at one point. They were towing more vehicles the next day. Some ofthe vehicles they were towing were parked legal.
They are mad at the establishment next door, the Steinhaus, because sometimes their patrons park in two designated spots to not park. Although these spots were marked, the markings are at least 20 feet on the building in small letters that you cant read. The owner of Hung Far Low goes outside with his cellphone and looks around to see whose parked and decides who gets towed. Sometimes he tows cars that are legally parked, he doesnt care. He makes commission from towing cars not from selling food. Too bad he cant make more money as a restaurant and not as an agent for the towing company, Andys towing on se 82.
This company can get away with this kind of bad business practices. I have parked legally for the past 15 years with this one exception on New Years Day.
Recognized Holiday for Americans! (But, they arent Americans). I am not racist!
But I can see where some people could become that way!
The fact is the towing company is also owned by Asians. There is a correlation here because they both work together and someone even told me that the owner of Hung Far Low gets a Commission on cars he has towed! So my advice? Dont eat there, and dont park anywhere behind either building. He will tow your car even if it is parked Legally.
