"Tiffany" is really Melissa/Alice/Fajita Girl/Rtyr/Sharon. She constantly posts about how restaurants have wronged her. Usually she claims its because they are jealous of how pretty she is. According to another one of her posts she is so handicapped be cause of her fibromalgia she cant get out of her car but she is able to walk to the video store?
Get a life Sybil. Its not all about you.

You have got to be kidding???????? First you order pizza and decide to go for a walk. Then you come up with some BS about the driver and how he 'defied our apartments regulations'? How stupid. YOU ordered pizza. They essentially had permission to come there. Anyone that has ever visited an apartment complex knows that if the building door/gate is open then go in. You act like he went into a bank that was open and walked into an open vault. It's a 'gated' community, get a life. Not to mention, just like a few other people have stated, he could have had another delivery in the same building; VERY common for a pizza delivery driver.
As far as the cell phone, why should the driver have to waste his minutes because you and your stupid boyfriend decide to go for a walk right after you order a pizza? If any pizzeria is not busy, it's not uncommon to have the driver show up in 20 minutes. Most residences are within 2-3 miles of the actual store so he probably just ASSUMED that either you weren't home or that it was a prank order; not uncommon to make that assumption. Plus, maybe he left the phone at home that night, we've all done that before. Maybe the battery was dead, we've all had that happen.
And I'm going to take a wild guess and say that this probably wasn't the FIRST time you had this problem with this store. If you were dumb enough or rude enough, whichever phrase fits best, then they probably flagged your account as having had a history of having done this before. That's furthermore my guess of why the pizza driver left. The manager is probably sick and tired of it happening all the time under your account so decided to leave it on your credit card. I would probably do the same thing if you had done this three times or more.
And lastly, you cost that driver money. Not only did he not get a tip from you but he went back down to the end of the order for deliveries and you essentially cost him another tip. Personally, if I were the driver I would be pissed.
This is just typical white trash people that can't handle the concept of having a pizza delivered, plain and simple.

Drivers won't spit on anyone's food, most of the ones I've dealt with over the years are decent, hardworking men and women. As to the suggestion that someone call in a fake order-shame on you! Pizza drivers are third most likely, after police and taxicab drivers, to be MURDERED on the job. Calling in a fake address should send up a lot of red flags..with the possibility of murder, robbery, or just wasting the driver's time, energy, gas, and money. If you don't like Hungry Howie's, call someone else. But DO NOT TAKE OUT YOUR FRUSTRATIONS ON THE DRIVER!

I called them they never come on time. I order delivery and they never come and then I have to reorder. Then I call them back and they say well you have to come and get it. That makes me so angry. Then one day they said they delivered at 4:00 pm pacific time . Then I call back they say We stop delivering I'm like is happening here. So I think you shouldn't even order from a place that you keep having problems with. Cause some people that work there may get very angry and want to spit on your food.

I deliver pizza myself and i sometimes have 2+ delivery's in one apartment complex. Even when i do not i usually do use the call box and i do not think most customers expect that. Is this the first time you have ordered pizza? Did you not realize that sometimes you get a time on the phone then your pizza can get there before that time. Do you have any idea how rude it is to leave your house when you know you have a delivery on the way. Also i could be wrong but i think it charges your card then puts the cash back in on top of it. He went to the place you ordered your pizza and you were not there. Then he left. The manager may or may not have been in the wrong but the driver did not do anything wrong Next time .. be at your house.

Did you stop and think that maybe he had another delivery at your building and that's how he got access? It's quite common to group deliveries together that are going to the same building or area and since your building was giving out free coupons, perhaps there were more than one delivery to your building. Why did you both have to go to the video store? One of you could have stayed home in case the pizza came.

Sounds like you had to deal with a bad manager. Sadly, its not so much howies fault, but the manager himself. Not much can be done really as most howies are franchised by individuals and do not have corporate backing and easily regulated policies or chains of command to follow up on. I would urge you not not follow the last guys advice though. Not fair to the other drivers, waste of thier gas and time. These guys make $6.15 an hour + tips, and tips arent always "all that" And as far as not having a cellphone, its uncommon to not have one, most do, but it's certainly not a requirement. With gas prices around $2.79 a gallon, + rent and living expenses, phone services/minute cards can become a bothersome expense at minimum wage. If you were upset enough to report something as minor as a 6 dollar oversite here, chances are you were rude when you called to speak to the manager. try calling back with a cool head or suck it up and dont order there anymore. The fact that the driver had "unrestricted access" and was at your apartment well before stated delivery time only shows he was experienced and took shortcuts to get you your food faster. I can mildy agree with you being upset and see your point, but saying your food will arrive in 45 minutes, simply means it will be "up to" and not exactly 45 minutes. Its ultimately your responsibility to be there to recieve your order, not going out to rent movies then coping an attitude cause you missed the driver.

If you wanted to even the score, how about calling them up a few times, make a bogus order, and have it delivered to: -The address of a big field. -To "John" at Stop & Shop. -A retirment home. -The guy in your building no one likes. -A business that's closed for the day. Let them "eat" the lose! It won't solve anything, but you'll feel a whole lot better:)
