Hydroderm FREE trial ripoff Culver City California
Couple of years ago, I got an e-mail offer to try Hydroderm serum free. I tried it, then reordered, and since it did not work out for me, got disappointed and cancelled as useless.
Recently, I saw an ad with the new, cutting edge facial care product and decided to give it a try. However, when I filled out an order, Hydroderm declined it because I already was a customer using same product (?). I was surprised because Hydroderm just bluntly admitted that it in fact marketed same old stuff under the new name, but I let it go. Instead I orderd a "First Impression Lips Full Trial" in the anticipation of oncoming winter and my usual problems with dry, chipped lips.
My supply was shipped immediately, 10/25/06, and in just two days I realized that there is something terribly wrong - my lips became so painfully dry and chipped as never before, and on a second day of use started breaking and bleeding. Maybe it was just allergic reaction, but I have never before suffered allergy to any cream, chapstick, or lipstick. Well, I had to cancel next shipment.
When I called, I was informed that either I return the stuff (on my own expense) or I will be billed $59.00, because MY FREE TRIAL ENDS ON 11/23/2006! I said - what? It is my FREE, means no money, trial! And it is already over!! The polite and pleasant lady told me that no, I have to pay and will be billed by the end of my free trial period. There is no point reasoning with Hydroderm - they use the "free trial" lure to make you pay no matter what.
Please think twice before you ask for a "free" Hydroderm trial - you'll get stuck with losing your money. Cheating on trusting customers is their policy, but I learned it too late to avoid a rip-off.
