An ad was sent to me as if they were an affiliate of Costco marketing free samples. But you have to pay for the shipping. You go through multiple screens where you can choose to sign up for a subscription for their products, so it seems like you are really getting a free sample. I really thought I read everything through carefully, but then a charge for 130 dollars showed up on my credit card from a "glowingmenow.com."
I looked up the name and was horrified to see all of the reviews that were calling this place a scam. When I went to the website, it was different than the one I signed up for, but for the same product and I read through the small print, and it stated that this was not a free sample, but a trial offer and that the bottle must be sent back before 14 days had past.
Originally, when the offer was sent to me, it stated that it was a free trial. When they sent me a receipt by email, the receipts stated that my free trial was on the way. I don't really understand what happened. I feel like such an idiot.
I don't know whether or not the product works, but I do know that this company has an underhanded way of foisting their products on people. The small print on the second website states that I just have to contact them by email to unsubscribe, which I have done, but I am also going to call my bank to see what can be done. Apparently this has worked for some people.
Please be more careful than I was.
