Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company is nothing but a rip off!!!!! They will sub you out for work with no intentions of paying for your time. They will ask you to go out and spend your own money for the supplies, so not only have you wasted your time, money actually comes out of your pocket. They install wireless access points for restaurants like Maggiano's, McDonald's and Taco Bell, very nice accounts but they only get $250.00 per site. Of course, they fail to tell you this until after you send your invoice, ours was $1800.00+.

We went to the site 5 times with numerous issues from Hyper,  wrong equipment, wrong IP address, 250 ft cable drop through a 20 ft ceiling that we were not told about in advance, towing cinder blocks up the side of the building and all has to be completed before the lunch crowd. The end-user was very unhappy with HyperDSl when we started the project, according to Hyper the "other sub contractors did not know what they were doing" I don't believe that, I think they were smarter than me and asked to be paid quicker than I did.

I saw it coming, they were so unorganized I knew there was no way these restaurants were paying this amount for WI/FI. I think Mr. Randall should go back to driving trucks and stop ripping off hard working companies. I told JC Randall I was going to place a report on the Rip Off Report to help protect other companies from being ripped off and he said he "would do the same". I have all correspondence  between the 2 companies and not one states anything other than what a "great job" we did. We have been in business for over 38 years and don't any reports to date......Just doing good business!!!!!!

I run a small MSP computer IT company in Richmond Va, The Computer Doctor of Richmond. We were contacted by JC recently to help with an onsite servicing at a local McDonalds. He explained the scope of work and asked what we will charge. I explained our billing policies and how we'll require payment via credit card at the completion of the task, we agreed and scheduled the job.

I then did a little googling and found this rip-off report.  I was a bit nervous that I may not get paid, but I took a chance as the project would be short and not a lot of risk.  JC is a nice guy and easy to work with.  He paid at the completion of the job and I'll be happy to work with him again in the future.

Since the reporting party did not report nor removed their report I guess that it falls to me to give the rest of the story...

After reviewing all the charges and our notes we made an offer which they had taken.  They did after bit did return all of our hardware at our cost back to us.   Part of the deal was also to remove this posting but as you can see they have yet to do it.  I do wish them well however I will never do business with them again!!

Yes they did give us the "Business Alright"

Here are the High Point....

  • Informing us that they are VERY familiar with the job site location.

  • Informing us that they do this kind of work all the time.

    • So if you have a non pen roof mount you would think it would go on the roof?

    • And if you do this work all the time then one would know that it is held down by blocks.

  • Billing us on a Free Quote / Jobsite Walk Thru.

    • No one bothered to take any notes as to the locations challenges.

  • Over Willingness not to work with Mall Security resulting in Large Amounts of stand-by charges.

  • Failing to bring required tools, and supplies to the jobsite, (ladders, etc...(Walk Thru?)).

    • Even more Stand-by Charges.

  • Techs that waste Network Eng. billable time on trouble shooting by:

    • Being unable to locate a factory label on a Router, (in plain sight).

    • Being unable to follow written instructions, (with pictures).

    • Being unable to have a tech to have a power supply for their laptop when required by said job.

  • Failing to keep to any time scheduling.

  • Failing to notice that this job should have only taken two hours to do, (and we have done quite a few).

To add final insult to injury...

  • Keeping all hardware for second job, (that was given at the same time as the first one).

  • Unwillingness to have the owner call ME!!!!  He does have my number!!
