hyundai canada canadian 100 000km waranty vs US 100 000 mile warranty...60 000 kms short markham, Ontario
Why is the Canadian new vehicle warranty 100 000 kilometers while the US warranty is 100 000 miles? Why is the US powertrain warranty 10 years and 100 000 miles and the Canadian is only 5 years and 100 000kms, seems like we are being screwd.
The roadside assistance for the US is for 5 years and yes again we get the shaft as the Canadian one for 3 years only however the kilometers vs mileage is almost equal. Keep in mind both the US and Canadian cars are built in the same plant however it cost twice as much to send a Hyundai to Lethbridge AB as it does to Great Falls MT, they are about 100 km apart...
Anyone have an answer? have written Hyundai for an explaination from Hyundai but I am not holding my breath...
