I used I Find Leaks to clean up a flood at my house. This company and John McCormick filed a fraudulant insurance claim which caused my insurance company to pay nothing leaving me with a house destroyed and Mr. McCormick saying too bad so sorry. After investigating this guy and company discovered he is being investigated by several state and federal agency's for Decptive Buisness practices, and fraud. He is also being sued by several individuals and compaines. If you call local business and insurance adjusters will see this company is not rated very high. Also discovered the owners wife Kim Jewitt has a criminal history so if his wife has a record i can just imagine his employees records are. He has a compliant filed against him with the Department of Professional Regulation for prostituing a contracors license amoung so many other things. Do your checking on this company. The owner is a professional con man. BEWARE!!!!!!Dont be taken like so many other people in the Clearwater area. Anyone that has so many websites is a great indicater of a scam artist.

I Find Leaks, I Destroy Mold, I Dry Leaks and IDL Construction are all accredited business with the Better Business Bureau and currently hold an A rating in Tampa Bay Florida. I Find Leaks, which is the parent company for all of the other divisions was also awarded Angie's list Super Service Award in 2010 and again in 2011. Less than 5% of all Angie's list contractors meet the requirements to receive this award. This prestigious award goes to contractors who go above and beyond the definition of customer service.
The internet is a good place to find information but is also a good place to hide behind a computer screen and try and take down your competitors. Our company is not under investigation for fraud or deceptive business practices. Actually, the facts are quite the opposite. I would advise any potential customer to do their homework with reputable sources such as the BBB, Angie's list and the DBPR (Florida Department of Business Professional Regulation) prior to hiring ANY contractor. You will see by checking these reputable sources that our company has a clean bill of health and provides valuable services to Tampa Bay business owners and residents each and every day. We provide references of previous customers upon requests and have hundreds of letters from happy customers that we would be happy to provide to any potential client. Please stop by our office at any time so we can share this information with you as we have nothing to hide.
We do not have a record of doing service for "Nancy D" who filed this report. We try our hardest to make each and every customer happy. If a customer is not happy with our service, we do not charge them. Our goal is customer service and customer service is what has helped us triple the size of our company over the last 3 years. That is not achieved by ripping people off.

As far as law suits on file go, there have been two on file with the court. Both suits were with previous employees of I Find Leaks who have now started competing companies and tried to copy the business model of I Find Leaks. I encourage the person who wrote this report to provide evidence of work my company performed in their home so that we can resolve this situation once and for all.
