I watch my bank account very closely. I do not believe in credit cards, but I do use my debit card on the net. However, I am 60 years old and I do not need any funding for education. I have never heard of ibuildwealth or the membership companies. I do not know how they got my bank account number.
I called their toll free phone. The rep asked for my phone number saying that was the only way she could look up my "account". I gave her 3 phone numbers and she could not find my 'account". Then she asked me for my credit card number ( these charges a are on my debit card). When I refused her the information, she told me she could do nothing for me without being able to find my "account". I asked to speak with her supervisor. Rep told me to call back the next day during regular business hours. I asked what her supervisor's name was. Rep didn't know the name of her supervisor. I asked Rep to speak with some one else. She told me whe was alone. I could hear the sounds of a call center in the background. When I told her that, she still insisted she was alone. I asked Rep what ibuildwealth does and she didn't know. She just kept repeating, "so sorry, Ma'am.
Now I have to change my bank account number. I guess I should be happy they only got me for $60.00!
