IDCSERVCOIDCSERVCO - Hill Office Suppply Copier Toner Scam Culver City California
I recieved a box of Toner from IDCSERVCO from Culver City, CA. The sales Company is Hill Office Supply. I answer the phones, so the first name they get is mine. We have contract with our copiers supplier and the toner is free.
We are also really aware of the scams with copiers going on. When they try to get info on the copier and the serial number, we ask them their name and what company they are with and then ALWAYS hang up. Which makes this even more upseting.
When I called the company, the first thing I was asked was did I read the terms & conditions. Which is a really bizzare. I have never been asked that.
Then they put me on hold and came back and said that they could offer to me at a lower price. I told them we get our toner free. then they told me that I signed the document approving it. When it was faxed over, it clearly was not my signature.
In the terms and conditions the Right to Cancel and Shipping & Handling Charges Charges contradit each other.
This whole thing reeks of being ripped off. It is upsetting to me that this was able to happen becuase we know the scope behind this scam and then when you add that my name was forged. I wonder if they are coming up with a new way to scam people.
