Like most HDVision customers, I saw an ad for their ultra high-def wrap-around sunglasses on late-night TV and decided that $10 for two pairs was too good to pass up. I had a chronic eye infection that has left me very sensitive to light, and I'm always looking for the perfect pair of sunglasses to give me all-around coverage without glare. The added bonus of high-def sold me on these glasses.
When I went to the website, I filled out all my information and clicked on the "press here to order" button, but when the page changed, instead of getting a confirmation, I got another page offering me -- of all things -- travel club membership. When I clicked on the "No, thanks" button (once again, thinking I was going to get a confirmation for my order), yet another page came up offering me "reflective, scratch resistant coating" for an additional $8 or so dollars per pair. Believing I was going to get scammed into ordering two $30 pairs of glasses instead of two $5 pairs, I closed out of the website without finishing my order, never receiving a confirmation.
Two weeks later, I received -- surprise -- two pairs of HDVision Ultra sunglasses. I refused the delivery and expect a full refund.
