Ordered a surround sound system from IDEALAV.com on March 04, 2005. The order was immediatley charged to the credit card. After several calls to inquire on delivery status and to obtain a tracking number, which could never be provided...the order was canceled after a screaming match with customer service who then hung up on me before giving me a cancelation confirmation number. I tried to call back and obtain the confirmation number and the phone rang with no answer.

On April 25, 2005 TeamAir attempted to deliver the merchandise. Received a phone call from the shipping company looking for directions to my house, I advised the order was canceled days before. The merchandise was never delivered. The money was never refunded either. I then opened a dispute with the credit card company, that later came back as a valid charge. Ideal Audio Video had forged a document and sent it to my credit card company writing in that I had signed for the package. I then called TeamAir (the shipping company they use) who verified the original tracking report shows that the merchandise was never delievered and where it states signed for by was filled in with question marks and then provided me with the return tracking number that shows the merchandise was shipped back because the order was canceled.

So, Ideal Audio Video forged the original report, typed on it that I signed for it when I didn't and sent it to the credit card company. Upon this discovery, I called Ideal Audio Video....had another screaming match with customer service in order to get them to refund the amount. They have now refunded the amount with a restocking fee and charged us for delivery - which I should not be charged because the order was canceled! At this point, I am still responsible for about $200. It should have never been delivered in the first place and is not my responsibility.

I called back today to dispute these charges and was hung up on again. I am trying to investigate a higher chain of command for assistance - which is going nowhere because who ever answers the phone at the customer service number tells me they are the manager...I go through the whole story again...fight the whole time and then get hung up on. Unfortunately, at this point there is no where left to turn then maybe to my credit card company again. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! I hope that they fall flat on their faces soon and go out of business if enough people rally together to put them out.
