IE Rentals Pama Management Starlite Management Bullshit a*s Company needs to be out of business San Bernardino California
I rented from this company in November 2014. I contacted Karina who sqid the house was ready. On the date I told them I wanted to move in, I couldn't because there was an outstanding water bill they needed to pay so I couldn't move in then. I actually moved in 2 1/2 weeks later after they finally paid water bill and made the necessary repairs needed in order for the water company to turn on the water. 3 faucets had to be replaced. I moved in to dirty floors, dead roaches, live spiders and a slew of repairs. I had plumbing issues, electrical issues, none of the outside doors are properly installed on the house. I have a 2" gap around my bar doors and a 1" gap around my patio door, so any and everything flies and crawls into the house. I had no heating or cooling system, closet doors off track, bathroom door didn't close properly, raggedy and broken wood fence in back yard, garage door that I can't lock because someone took an axe to the part you attach a lock too, and a vent in the hallway where you can see straight through to the sky. Karina told me to report everything to her and they would fix everything.
Plumbers came out about 4 times in the first 2 weeks, someone came qnd rigged the rotten fence in the backyard and a contractor came to install 2 wall heaters. Nothing else has been fixed and after 3 months of constantly asking when someone was coming out to make the other repairs, Karina acted like it was the first time she was hearing of the problems and she'll send someone out. No one never came. I called Victorville Bldg and Safety but they never called me back. I'm convinced they are working together. They can call me about the rent but they can't call or send someone for repairs. I take my time avout paying them cuz this place ain't up to code. I'm ready to find another place to move to and it's only been 6 months. I'm tired of paying these slumlords my hard earned money for my baby to stay sick. I think this house is making him ill. He is always sick since we moved into this house. Now I'm waiting for a contractor, not plumber, to come out because a pipe busted in ny bathroom last night around 9pm and it's 5 pm the next day and theyare ttelling me maybe tomorrow someone will come out.
This s*** is ridiculous. I don't live like this and I'm being forced to live like this because I can't afford to move but I'm seriously contemplating moving I just have to figure out if being homeless with my 3 kids is better than being in this raggedy house. I'm writing this report in hopes tha t it stops someone from renting anything from these companies. They are rude, disrespectful, and don't give q f***. If anyone is doing a class action let me know. I have pictures and video of everything.
