IFL Furniture Store Scam at Rockville Maryland
I was happily shopping for my new condo and came across IFL (International Furniture Liquidator) at Rockville, MD. They offered us a pretty good price on a bed set (including dressers, night stands and bed frames) and an Italian leather sectionals for $4000. The delivery came on time on yesterday (04/09/09) and we were happy when receiving the furniture. Luckily, one of the pillow on the sectionals dropped, then my husband and I noticed a different touch in materials. We flipped over the sectionals and noticed that the sectional was tagged MADE IN CHINA with materials contents listing POLYESTER! I was furious! We did not accept the delivery, and did not sign any documents and went straight to the store. The manager Yanik said it was a mistake. And I was thinking, how could this be a mistake? They send us a set of sectional with matching end tables (Later I realized it was a different color than the one on displayed too!). The manager promised he will send us a new one next week. Then we called again today (04/10/09) and asked if he has placed the order for us, and he said the sectional we requested is discontinued and they could only offered us the display. I was happy to take the display if they could offer us some discount, and yet he said they've placed the wrong price mark on there (this is TRULY FALSE ADVERTISEMENT) It should be $3500 but they are offering us the price we paid $2100 for a new set of sectional. And I was even more furious! How could you offer your customer the display product with the price that we've agreed on for a new set of Italian leather sectional? This is a true business scam and I decided to write this report at work because I do not want other customers to suffer like we did. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM IFL!!

Why would someone think that they we get such a good deal on a REAL leather sectional You got what you paid for cheap furniture.
