An officer of this company, Blakeleigh Kim (Young Jae Kim) fabricated reasons for my termination from the company, I suspect in an attempt to deny unemployment benefits. He was unsuccessful in doing so as he could not substantiate any of his bogus claims. He also tells clients/employees and others that he is a doctor of which I have never seen any proof. In fact, I have witnessed the removal of the title of "Dr." from anything legal or public and notice that it remains only in verbal conversation. I had to go through the Los Angeles Division of Labor in order to receive the vacation pay to which I was entitled. I presented to the magistrate a card from Mr. Kim that I had received just a few days before my termination which thanked me for all my hard work and dedication. I was also told by other employees of the fraudulent credit card practices described in another report on this website although I personally did not process credit cards. I witnessed several outright lies from Mr. Kim including the fact that he was only an acting director of the company while the papers that I requested from the Secretary of State showed him to be an officer of the company. It is my opinion that the statistics on the website of student achievement are not mathematically sound and I suspect they are fabricated. It is also my opinion that Mr. Kim, and thus ImageScholar the company, is a generally dishonest entity. I would recommend to all and especially to those in the Korean community to utilize another company for similar services.

Response to the Bitter and Disgruntled Ex-employee

#2REBUTTAL Individual responds

Although this complaint was written anonymously, I believe I know who the author of this complaint is.  But, because this person has not identified herself, I will just respond to this claim generally by saying, terminating an employee is a difficult thing to do. The ideal situation is where the employer and the employee can part ways amicably, but there are occasions where this is not the case.

In this particular case, to the anonymous author, I hope you found a job.
