Matt Lewis of Sky Sotheby's in Florida did in fact hire our web design and marketing firm to build him a new web site and to market the site to the search engines. After working closely with Matt we created a beautiful new site, fully optimized and ready to be submitted to the search engines. We obtained permission from Matt to go live with the completed site and began the internet marketing phase of the web site. The web site was site mapped, and submitted to all the major search engines each month as per our agreement. Matt then decided that the site was not complete due to a module that he wanted added. What I have explained to Mr. Lewis is that I have attempted to contact the vendor with the add on application numerous times, and that I cannot hold the hand of a third party vendor and get him to send me the information I need. I did what I was hired to do. 1. We built a beautiful, easy to navigate web site for Matt. 2. We optimized the web site and scored each page in the 90th percentile for SEO. 3. We were given permission from Matt Lewis to go live with the site. As per our agreement, once the site goes live the final payment is due. To catch Matt in a lie he said I was never given a copy of the site, and have absolutely nothing to show for the money charged. The site was put live and was fully functional online. The site is no longer up due to non paying of the hosting, however www.archive.org recorded an online copy at the below link. Archive.org will store all live web sites, not the images but it still shows proof the site was online! http://web.archive.org/web/20071114165030/http://gulfandbay.com/ Matt has now filed a credit card charge back and Discover card has agreed with us that we did our job and deserved to be paid. Matt has issued demand letters, and now he is trying to slander our good name. Enough is enough, we did our job and we earned our money. What more do we need to do?
