As an ex-employee of Bradik Telecommunications Services, middle-man for imperial majesty and Ramada Plaza Resorts, I'll say right off the bat that I write only in an attempt to share what I know of this vacation package in hopes of bringing a new point of view to the table. I was one of about 150 people making these solicitous overseas calls, and from what I could tell, the package seems relatively clean. People do receive the package for which they authorize payment, but the package is for four people, and the rooms they receive apparently arent "american-sized", or even comfortable for a family that size. Also, the car they receive is a four banger rrice rocket which, when a family of four healthy-sized German folks climb out looks distinctly clowncar-ish. The other thing is they will probably grill the vacationer, flash-sear 'em with timeshare opportunities, etc. I personally quit my job because I was fined 500 dollars for failing to mention that with their fabulous package the vacationer also receives a complimentary guided tour of one of our off-site resorts." There very well could be a reason for this fine other than IMV's liability concerns, but I'm not aware of it. I got this info from a customer I called who had already taken the package, and for some reason remained on the call list. I asked him for this info because i wanted to be sure i wasn't technically lying to customers.

Thanks so much rip-off-report and the Office of consumer affairs Ireland! I got my refund back in full. I was advised to reply within 30 days to Ramada to ask for a full refund as under EU distance selling regulations one is entitled to a full refund within that period. The Federal trades commision and attorney general of Florida were also contacted. There is hope.....Keep trying you will get a refund. I didn't call on the phone as they just kept me on hold for over 15 minutes each time which was working out very expensive from Europe each time. Instead, I faxed them to several numbers 9543314180, 9543314189, 9545079399 and 9545683847 that I got on this site. Thanks!

I faxed the following numbers with a letter similar to other on this website over a week ago. I used the following numbers (again I obtained these from this website) 954 568 3847, 954 331 4180, 954 331 4189 and 954 567 9399. So far no refund. I had tried sewveral times before this to ring but was left on hold for over 15 minutes each time which is no mean feat when ringing from this side of the Atlantic! We received our "package" last Monday which was a joke as there were no pictures of hotels, boats etc or any fax, e-mail addresses or additional numbers you could ring for information. I have reported this company to consumer affairs in Ireland and they in turn have sent details to the Federal Trades commission along with complaints from other poor suckers like us! I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. As for Pia's rebuttal I have no intention wasting more money on this company by going on what everyone else seems to describe as my idea of a "holiday from hell" ! Rachel

Rachel, please don't deprive yourself and especially your husband from having a great vacation. After reading your comments, I notice a few errors, first of all you have the website address wrong instead of Imperial Majesty vactions with an S at the end - you should type www.ImperialMajestyVaction.com (without the s at the end). Also the first number is the customer service number and the other number is the promotion desk number. You can also check www.ramadadream.com website as well for more info. You forgot to mention that the reason why you were transferred to other people was for verification purposes. Ensuring that you are protected as a customer (The verfication dept. needs to go over the info. with both of you again to make sure that you understood everything and give you the conmpany's contact information. Rachel, please understand, this is a promotion it is not a contest, neither a competition -you are simply receiving a wonderful package for less than what it is actually worth. Do you honestly think that a multi billion company like Imperial Majesty and Ramada who has been in business for so many years would actually lose their good name and the people that they are associated with (Walt Disney world, Alamo car rentals, Universal) for a misely $898. and still remain in business for as long as they have. There will always be skeptics out there. People you simply will never understand.... Have you recieved the package? Why don't you wait to receive the package and go on the holiday and then make your comments. Your husband has not done anything wrong. He his 100% protected. You have 18 months to take your vacation, plan your holiday and have a wonderful time - and hopefully you get to travel with the company again. Ultimately that's the purpose of the promotion.
