The sales people who are in the field are independent. We have the 3rd party confirmation calls to ensure that what the merchant has been told is the correct information, including asking the merchant if he/she is aware that they are applying for a NEW credit card processing account. If the applicant says NO, then we do not accept the application for processing and the account is not established. We have added such safeguards into the process to make sure only those merchants who truly want our business are applying; however, we require the assistance of the customer by answering honestly to the questions so we can determine when there is a problem.
