Innovative Products Sells Defective Blenders and will not replace them without customer having to pay for shipping, and jump through all kinds of hoops! York Pennsylvania
I bought this blender at the Medifast website. This health mate blender is advertised to make creamy shakes using the medifast products. The blender does not blend at all! When I put in 1 or 2 ice cubes, it simply tosses them around and they do not end up much different when they come out then when they went in! The blades are not the least bit sharp at all and do absolutely nothing but move the ice and liquid around similar to what I could already do with a shaker jar or simply a spoon. I called medifast and they told me that I had to call Innovative Products. I called Innovative Products and spoke to a very unprofessional woman named Wendy. She said that I should "Send the item back to them and they would consider sending out a replacement or fixing the issue and that it is up to us what to do." I asked, "And you pay for the shipping?" She almost laughed and said, "Of course not, you have to pay for that". I asked, "Why would I have to pay for the shipping when you sent out a defective item. I'm not changing my mind; you sold me something that doesn't work". She said, "Well, you should contact Medifast". Of course, Medifast had already told me to contact Innovative Products. I asked for a supervisor and she said, "I don't have a supervisor; I'm the boss."
