Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I ordered a supposedly "Brand New" Apple OEM logic board replacement for my 2012 MacBook Pro on eBay from Mark's store which was called inotebookparts.com.      I had multiple ebay choices to select from for a "Refurbished" logic board and the average cost was around $350 usd on ebay and these boards came with either a 60 day, 30 day, or no warranty.     I decided that I wasn't going to take the chance on purchasing a "Refurb" logic board and instead opted to pay nearly $600 for a "Brand New" board that came with the full Apple warranty.

I ordered the board from Mark via ebay and the logic board arrived.     I installed it and my laptop worked fine.    Around late September (eight months later) my MacBook stopped working.    I looked up my order from my history on ebay and noticed that Mark and his company "inotebookparts.com" was no longer a listed seller on ebay.      When I called ebay to let them know that I had purchased a "Brand New" OEM logic board that should be under warrantly they agreed to reach out to Mark to see what he could do to honor the warranty.    Ebay indicated that I should receive a call or email from Mark.

A day after contacting ebay, Mark sent me an email stating that the "Brand New" OEM logic board only came with a 60 day warranty and that there was nothing that he could do since I was way past the warranty period.     I sent a response to Mark reminding him that I did not purchase a refurbished logic board and paid the extra $250 to get a "New" logic board.    In reality, my belief is that I was sold a "Refurb" board as a "Brand New" logic board and that I paid nearly $600 for a logic board that should have been priced at around $350.    Then, to have the seller (Mark) tell me that none of the details in the original ebay listing (Brand New, Apple Warranty, etc) are valid is ridiculous!

I would stay far far away from Mark and his company (Whatever it's called now) as you won't get the product that you purchased, he will refute the warranty that was his major selling point in the ebay listing, and he won't lift a finger to make things right.    Keep in mind that I could have purchased a very nice NEW computer for another $200 above a beyond what I paid for the $600 defective logic board.  Now, my MacBook Pro is a nice piece of aluminum that won't boot up, won't run, and is basically worthless.  Thanks Mark and inotebookparts.com for one of the worst ebay transactions I've had in nearly 13 years.
