My mail in rebate was approved as early as 10-18-06 but still no check. Rebate center in Minnesot processing claim. I purchased my phone thru Cellular Choices www. cellular choices.net. A complete address is not shown on its website as it ABOUT US shows it is Oregon based. I searched the yellow pages thru various internet sites but was unable to locate an address . I searched the BBB's website serving Alaska, Oregon and Wetern Washington. It lists Cellular Choices www.cellularchoices.net. Address is 16004 SW Tuala Sherwood Rd Ste 166 Sherwood OR 97140-8521 telephone 877-699-9461 fax 877-314-9944. It is shown as a sole proprietorship and business start date is February 2002. Note: the phone is still connected.

finally received rebate check

finally, rebate check sent by Inphonic on January 3,2007, received on January 4, 2007, It took 20 weeks and 21 days for me to receive it. Far beyond the promise of 10-12 weeks as promised on the rebate form. The so called "unforeseen issues" claimed by the rebate center must be a pattern, that is such issues have/are causing the delay of many rebate checks to customers. For those claims granted, maybe the Attorney General serving Washington, DC can file another suit against Inphonic for failure to pay within the promised period shown on the rebate forms. Inphonic is to shell out about $3.8 million on the suit filed in June 0f last year due to application of difficult and/or impossible terms that the consumuer cannot meet.

another delay of payment

On December 22, 2006, I received email notifying me that the center has ran in to unforeseen issues!! The rebate check will be delayed further until the issues are resolved. I had stopped telephone communication with the center because of broken promises and wanted a written record.... The rebate center has e-mail addresses: [email protected]. [email protected] I like documentation in written form ! I waiting on the center to elaborate on the unforeseen issues and to furnish dates they arose. My claim was approved as early as 10-18-06 and was informed to allow 2-3 weeks for payment processing. A news article about Inphonic is available on the Washingtonpost's website. WWW.washingtonpost.com. In the search block of the website enter---inphonic and it will pull up an article dated November 7, 2006. I hope suit puts Inphonic out of business.
