 The prospective buyer of my home used this guy to inspect my home and created a false report of a high water pressure reading. Knowing I was living out of state at the time he used the opportunity to come back after the initial daytime inspection and took a reading in the wee hours of the morning when city water pressures are naturally high because of lack of demand at that time. According to his reading of 110 PSI I agreed it was high and approved the contract to repair it. But once I came back to do the repair my plumber took a evading during midday hours and got a reading slightly over an 80 PSI. Since the contract was signed I had no choice but to comply and spend over $800 for the repair. I reported him to the Texas AG and it is on file there. The licensing agency TREC was of no help since he's basically in their pocket. So I am just writing this to WARN Anyone who us selling a house and the buyer is using Inspector Clouseau Home Inspections of San Antonio, to check the report with a fine toothed comb.

here some personal  advice for anybody who plans to hire a home inspector.  If your real estate agent that you were using is mentioning to you to use a particular Home Inspector tell her that if she brings it up again you will fire her and get a Nother agent.   When a real estate agent suggested you use a particular home inspection company she's really telling you that they probably are in bed together.

 Make no mistake hey Home Inspector gets their business from real estate agents because the real estate agents are the ones getting them the business.  

Never ever use a home inspector that your real estate agent tells you to use and never ever ever use a real estate agent that is a friend of yours    You will be taking advantage of and you will not be giving the service that you are paying for.  

 I challenge anyone to find a home inspector that knows how to detect if a house has natural gas leaks.   It will be almost impossible for you to do that because most home inspectors that I've come across do not have a level of intelligence that can be measured nor do they have a level of intelligence about natural gas systems.

The average Home Inspector makes a minimum of $166 an hour to walk around the house that you were planning on buying and spending hundreds of thousands dollars  purchase.

 Anybody can buy a franchise and become a Home Inspector it's obvious to me.  For Home Inspector to be certified and licensed here's my thoughts.

 They should be licensed by the state that they are operating in 

 I should be a licensed contractor.

 They should be a licensed AC service technician.

 They should show proof of their liability insurance.  A actual printed copy for you to have.

 They should  be licensed by the state as a certified home Inspector by the state.   They should be bonded.  They should have proof of liability insurance so they can be easily sued if they suggest you buy a house that has a shitload of problems that cost you a lot of money to  get repaired by licensed contractor.

 I'm sure that I can go to a local flea market and buy some magnetic stickers and put them on the side of my pick up truck and tell everybody that I am a home inspector and put his cell phone number on it and I'm in business and walk around and telling everybody that I only charge $166 an hour to do a home inspection for you to protect you from scams in the real estate industry.

 Is that what you want to pay for.   Before you use any Home Inspector first of all you must never ever ever use a real estate's suggestion as who you should use as a Home Inspector because those f*s are in bed together if they're doing that make no mistake do not doubt me.

 And never ever use a real estate agent that's a friend of yours because this is all about money it's not about friendship.

 People should also learn how to write reviews about a company that you're pissed about

 Google loves the word reviews and they love the word complaints you should always put that in the title of your Rip Off Report.

 It's extremely important to use the word REVIEWS or COMPLAINTS after the name of the individual that you're writing about. 

 Here's a message to pillar to post   A company that has Home Inspector's.  I'm assuming their franchise.

 Create a better way to certify that a person is qualified to do home inspections.   Make sure that you have a picture of their license and a picture of their insurance  documentations on each of your pillar to post Home Inspector's profiles.   You should also let the people post positive or negative reviews about your home inspectors if you care about the American people

 Also if an individual that's a Home Inspector on your company name gets a certain number of complaints they should lose their franchise.

 Just because somebody says they are a Home Inspector does not  I mean do they know what they're doing.

 Ask a home inspector that you choose what's the outgoing pressure of natural gas between the gas regulator and the home.   Ask him what's the normal operation of pressure of natural gas.   Ask them what's the expansion rate of natural gas ?

 More than likely they will tell you that they do not do natural gas inspections on houses that means that they don't know what they're doing why would you pay a home inspector to inspect the house if they don't know how to do gas inspections ?

 What good are they ?

 Natural gas is measured by inches of water column not pounds per square inch.

 I mentioned natural gas in this post because it's extremely important for you to pay attention to it and if you hire a home inspector to inspect the house did you plan to buy that does  I have natural gas in the Home Inspector does not know how to do that didn't do not pay them s*.

I totally agree with you when it comes to Home Inspector's.  Most home inspectors are in bed with the real estate agent that selling the house.   Home Inspector do not get business from the consumer they get business from the real estate agents that are selling the houses and most of the time they are in bed together.

 I personally believe he was in bed with our real estate agent the sellers agent.   I personally believe they do not want you to find the major issues with the house that way  The agents spend less time with their clients because they don't want to deal with the complaints that the consumer may have about issues if they find the truth about a house.

 

 I personally believe there should be a website that hosts the true history of homes kind of like CAR FAX say like a  called  HOMEFAX.  I think buyers should post Rip Off Report's about houses that are pieces of crap that are on the market.

 The buyer should post Rip Off Report's including pictures and all of the troubles a house has that's currently on the market start bringing the truth to the American people.

 

 You can be a complete idiot in the state of Arizona and get a license to inspect homes.

 The local pillar to post home inspection guy in Arizona couldn't find a lot of things about the house that we were planning on buying.

 

 All of the windows that could be opened to let fresh air in the house did not have screens.  Any idiot could see that. 

 The house had aluminum wire instead of copper wire which is on safe if the aluminum wire is not big enough to carry the load it can cause a fire if the aluminum wire is overheated.  He failed to mention that.

 

 All of the baseboards inside the house on the outer perimeter walls of the house we're coming loose from the walls,  that's a problem that he didn't recognize because he was an idiot and  The reason that's a problem when baseboards or not from Lindale against the walls of the house they're coming loose because the nails are not going into wood that's not rotten because of water leaks.

 

 I peeled the park one of the baseboards behind the baseboard was rotten wood the nails were going into Rottenwood that's why they would not stay firmly attached to the walls.   There were several other issues but this a*****e didn't know what he was doing but in the again he didn't know what he was doing he was preventing a buyer from knowing the true troubles with that house that way the real estate agent could make a quick sale and move onto the next potential victim 

 

 There are to be a law that no real estate agent can ever  suggest a home inspector of the real estate agents choice.  That's clearly a sign of those two f**kers been in bed together.   If the Home Inspector was honest and truthful he would only work for the home buyer and he would tell the buyer the complete story of the house of what's really going on he would get more business because the buyer would be willing to spend more money for another inspection of a second home  that he or she was planning on buying because the first one was a piece of crap. 

 

 Most home inspectors are useless they're not trained in anything except ripping you off not telling you the truth about what's going on. Anybody can hire an idiot especially off craigslist.

 I think the buyers if they buy a house in the Home Inspector did not tell the truth the buyers  should take the Home Inspector's to court and sue them to financially be responsible for what they did not reveal to the buyer.

 

 Home Inspector is for the most part are nothing but scammers they don't want to tell the truth or there an idiot and I don't know how to detect troubles.

 

 Never listen to your real estate agent your favorite real estate agents when it comes to Home Inspector's because your real estate agent does not give a crap if the truth is not told they want to sell your house quick and move onto the next home buyer.  Try to find a home inspector that can tell you whether a house has natural gas leaks if the house has natural gas they don't know how to test natural gas  Systems for leaks because they're idiots.

 

 If you want to buy house and it had natural gas would you want to know whether it has a leak in the gas system or not ?  If you don't care you are A FOOL.  

 Yeah jump on the Internet and try to find a home inspector that actually knows what they're doing and what are their qualifications and certifications.........

 

 Remember the agent is in bed with them.....
