I filed with Instant Tax Service on 1/5/2012. On this day I was quoted that my refund would be 7617.00 and after fees 7017.00 by an Amber S. On that day I received an instant cash loan of 200.00. While the fees  of 400.00 were a bit pricey I accepted them because I unfortunately needed the money at that time. However, when I picked up my check today It was only 6818.05. Which is short of what I was quoted and what was written on the packet I walked away with on 1/5/12.

Misty Graham (at the 5818 Normandy blvd location) Proceeded to tell me that the difference was my loan of 200.00 that Amber S. failed to subtract when quoting customers, hence the reason she is no longer with them. What's funny is that my refund is exactly 198.95 short, not an exact 200.00. Her explanation for this? Their fees are round something up by $1.05 to make it an even 600.00. I must have stupid written on my forehead. She printed me a fee sheet upon asking and stated I signed the one in my file yet she couldn't make a copy because there are no copy machines in her office. Ironically, the fee sheet, is the only loan form that was not included in my documents on 1/5/12.

I was told I could file a dispute form for the 200.00 I was due and that it would be sent to their corporate office. I completed the form and then was told that it could not be faxed because she did not have a fax machine in the office. I watched her type in an instant message my dispute and send it over to Andy Burnett at the moncrief office (their "corporate" office). He called and said he would review my file and get back to me tomorrow.

Corporate is located in Dayton Ohio. I did not receive a full copy of my tax return, that I was charged 600.00 for which is required by law. Misty could not provide any specific information as to what the fees were for.  She knew nothing. There was a young guy in the office who was not a preparer, whom misty stated had no knowledge of the returns (he was only there to hand out checks) Yet he had complete access to all of my personal information and he wasn't even willing to give his full name.

They argued with me for an hour and a half. Yelled at me, the customer who paid 600.00 plus the loan of 200.00, about how I wrong i was. I have never been treated so poorly by a "company" ever in life! I am reporting them to all the local news stations, BBB and the IRS. I was lied to and cheated out of an additional 200.00. Now I will be requesting ALL of my money back, simply because they can not submit my return without a w2 (which is supposedly also pulled by their corporate office) and my company doesn't offer them electronically. So there are some legal ramifications.
