InstantCheckMate.com I purchased the $9.95 package and they stoled $59.16 from my debit account. They treated me awful, and they refused to give me my money back. Las Vegas, Nevada
I signed up for the $9.95 package deal on www.instantcheckmate.com .
This was a mistake I discovered days later that they had ripped me off for $59.16 . They lied and said that I had signed up for this type of package. They were very rude to me . They refused to give me my money back. so I'm giving this as a warning to others . I have also decided not to conduct anymore business on the internet. It's too risky.!

I searched for someone, set up an account, and then got led to the pricing. Not to my surprise at all, I found out that you actually did agree to pay $59.16. You see, that $9.95 package, is $9.95/month for 6 months, paid all at once. It clearly says it right next to the option. They could have probably been nicer and refunded the money, but at the same time, they don't legally have to. You agreed to pay the money, they can't be at fault for your stupidity.

"Billing & Services
The Instant Check Mate website offers three basic membership plans. All membership plans are billed up front for the entire term selected. As we sometimes offer promotional discounts the price of your membership may vary depending on the date you signed up. A 6-month membership costs either $14.86/month or $9.86/month and is charged as $89.16 or $59.16 respectively at the time of purchase. A 3-month membership costs either $19.86/month or $14.86/month and is charged as $59.58 or $44.58 respectively at the time of purchase. A 1-month membership costs either $24.86/month or $19.86/month and is charged as $24.86 or $19.86 respectively at the time of purchase. If a customer's payment for a full term is declined due to insufficient funds, Instant Checkmate reserves the right to bill in monthly installments at the rate selected by the customer.
By default, all plans are scheduled to renew automatically when the selected term comes to an end. Customers can cancel at any time by calling our customer support line at 1-866-490-5980.
If you selected a trial membership, your five day $1.00 trial will expire in 5 days. If you would like to cancel before the trial ends, you may do so for any reason and you will not be charged again. Simply call 1-866-490-5980 between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM, PST, Monday through Friday, or weekends between 5:00 AM and 6:00 PM, PST to speak with one of our Customer Service Representatives. Otherwise, your trial membership will end five days after you signed up, at which time you will be charged the standard monthly rate of either $29.63, $34.63, or or $39.63. The monthly rate is determined by the promotion that was running at the date of purchase. Your membership will automatically renew every 30 days thereafter until you cancel."
