Integra Financial Benefits Services ripoff Champlain New York
I received a phone call stating that I was approved for a MasterCard with a $2,000 credit limit. All I needed to do was put $249.00 deposit on the credit card.
They took my bank information (account and routing number)and drivers license number. They recoreded the telephone call and had a supervisor verify the information told me my account would be debited $249 and I would receive my MasterCard in the mail in 25 days. They gave me a customer service number to call (1-866-848-6234)in case I had any questions.
After I got off the phone with them, I did have a question and tried to call them back. The number wouldn't dial out from my location. So, I thought I would look them up on the net and get the information that way. Thats when the Rip-off site came up.
I then called my bank to inform them of what had happened. They assured me that they would watch for the charge and put a stop payment on it. It went through anyway. I called the bank to get my money back and they said "Sorry, we can't help you". So, I let it go, thinking I was out $249.00.
Then about a month and half later I get a package in the mail from Integra Financial. They sent me a few fliers about some deals out on the market for consumers and another application for the SAME MasterCard I had already paid $249.00 for. I would only have to pay a 39.95 processing fee to get it started. So,
I went back online to look up more information from Rip-off. I then called my bank and didn't take no for an answer. I got my money back the same day. I did have to file a police report, but hey, it's worth $249.00.
Keep at it!! You will get your money back!!
