Upon arriving to my doorstep, Zac told me that he was vet, who was injured in Iraq and that he was now enrolled at Cleveland State University. He said that he lived on the street next to my development and that he needed help! (I immediately asked him a) why he was released from the Iraq war early and did not have to return... for which he tried to show me a bullet wound/skin graft. He said that it was the best skin grafting operation that his surgeon has ever completed; and b) when

did Universities start fund raising for events and functions?)

He explained that the University had asked him to sell these magazines and books to raise money for a theatre group that he was involved in. He went so far to say that his other classmates needed help and that he used his

GI money to pay for his share. He said that he ordered magazines and sentthem to his commander back in Iraq. He said that his mom worked at the Cleveland Clinic in the neurology department and that they always look for magazines and books for the office. He said that I could send magazines to his commander in Iraq or even give them to the Cleveland Clinic. He said that his mom could stop by or that she would send a thank you note. He also stated that he has never had to fund raise before; however, that his classmates were counting on him.

I offered to purchase a book for the Cleveland Clinic, because I know that they do good work. He also asked for two address labels from me so that his mom could send a thank you note, as well as, my favorite color and a location choice between London and Paris so that his "mom" could send me a thank you card and a time when he would be on the BBC channel.

When I left my development about a hour later, and after having some strong reservations, I noticed him sitting on an utility box two streets over. It was clear that he was loitering and that he did not live near me. I came to find that companies like this have drivers.

I have contacted the company via a website. There is no phone number present. They contacted me to tell me that they "shredded my check and information" for my protection. I asked then "why not send back my check?"

If you have any questions, contact your city immediately. Companies have to register in a city before they sell or distribute anything! Also contact State of Nevada, Bureau of Consumer Protection under the Attorney General's Office.

Thanks!
