This is in response to Cook and her remarks. Interlake Chemicals has been in business for over 20 years and we have a fantastic reputation. In any business you are going to have a few people that complain, and Cook is one of these people. I don't care if you are Walmart, Sears, Northwest Airlines, or just a small company, you are going to have a few that feel it is their right to try and damage the good reputation of a company. She is just a bitter person with nothing better to do than stay on her computer and make false accusations about a great company and a great product. Cook keeps ranting about fraudulent distributorships and Interlake being sued in the state of Washington. For the last time, and I will explain to Cook one last time, Interlake is not a franchise and is not selling fraudulent distributorships in Ontario or anywhere else in the world...end of story. As for the state of Washington, Interlake was NEVER sued in the state of Washington. Do some reading Cook and you will understand what a lawsuit is and what it is to be sued. Please show us where in the courts of Washington where Interlake was sued. There was a clerical error, Interlake paid an adminstration fee and Interlake is registered in the state of Washington. So here we have a former distributor of Interlake all mad because she and her husband did nothing with our great product. Because of this, she has decided that she does not want anyone else to succeed because she did not work the business. If you do not work, you will not succeed, it is that simple. However, we can never get it straight, on one hand they say they were doing great, on the other hand they say they were not. Her husband is a truck driver and he told me many times that he loved the product but he just did not have the time to devote to their business. The Cook's then decided they wanted to sell their business, and in her AD to sell their business Cook states that they make between $50.00 - $200.00 dollars per hour. In actual fact we have many distributors that make much more than that, but Cook was very happy with the amount of money they were making, but again just did not have the time to devote to their business. The bottom line is Cook is just one of those people that wastes everyone's time. She has an AD up that she says is to lure people to it so she can try and slam our great reputation. We have been told from a few of our distributors right in Ontario that they have been harrassed by the Cook's, but these are distributors that are working and making money and don't have time for her rantings. This is why our lawyers are in the process of suing Cook for defamation. Cook will then know what a lawsuit is really all about. She thinks she can just go on the internet and do and say whatever she wants, well when you do that, there is a price to pay. We have a great team of distributors around the world, and do not have time for her bitterness so we will just leave it to our lawyers to handle. Cook says our product works, and she is correct, she even sent us referrals from jobs they completed at Subway, and McDonald's restaurants. You are right when you say our product is good, but I would have to go on and say our product is great. Our distributors in Ontario are doing very well. Cook's were doing very well also, as their AD states. The Cook's were a distributor with us for over a year, and now all of a sudden,15 months later, she is trying to paint us as these awful people. Well, we are not. I can understand someone making a mistake in judgement, but after working with Interlake for over one year...I don't think so. No one buys that. We were very good to Tom & Doreen and they know that, that is why they were with us for over a year. No one in their right mind would stay with a company for over a year if we were as bad as she tries to make us out to be. It makes no sense, and people realize that. We just completed another great trade show in November in New York city on behalf of all of our distributors and it was our 3rd year in a row doing the Hotel & Restaurant show. We are continuing to supply safety to millions of people around the world, and regardless of what Cook says, we are making the world a safer place. Cook's had the ability to do great things, but as I told her before, if she spent as much time on her Sure Step business as she does on the internet, she would be a tremendous succuss. So when you tell people to be aware, thank you Doreen, because we want people to be aware that there is a great product called Sure Step and a great opportunity for people that are willing to work. Like our distributor in Florida that just completed the 5th store of a restaurant franchise that has over 40 locations (that's a $75,000.00 dollar account), or our distributor in Missouri that just completed several hotel lobbies and around swimming pools because people were slipping and falling and kids were really injuring themselves, or our distributor in Iceland that just treated 255 bathtubs at the Hilton Hotel (that was $9,690.00), or our distributor in Ontario that just completed the store of one of the largest chains in Canada, or our distributor that treated the senior's retirement home because one of their residents slipped and fell and broke her hip and now she is going to live the rest of her life in pain, or our distributor that treated another large swimming pool for the city in Nortwest USA because a young girl slipped and fell and had to be rushed to the hospital (that was $10,493.75), or the Super8 Hotel in Northern Ontario that our distributor treated all of their 59 bathtubs because their customers were complaining that the tubs were too slippery and they did not want to use a bathmat because of potential germs and bacteria (that paid $2,003.05)...the list goes on and on Doreen. This is why we are in business and why we have been in business for over 20 years and why we will continue to be in business 20 years from now.
