Hi Gayle. Wow! IPA-IBA is trying to exert either duress or undue influence to get you to sign a legal binding contract, which is illegal. As a very well-educated business student, duress is compulsion by threat or force; coercion; constraint; such constraint or coercion as will render void a contract or other legal act entered or performed under its influence. Undue influence: It is the pressure, coercion or influence exerted by some person on other person, with an intention to influence his presence of mind for drawing undue benefits from him, which he / she would not have granted in the normal course. Such pressers are exerted for getting contracts, will, gift etc. To set aside such actions magnitude of the effects of the influence is considered. I'm glad I turned down the second interview by this company back in March after finding out what sleazeballs, scumbags, and bottom-feeders that get hired and run this company. They should roast in the pits of hell after duping small-business owners. Power of attorney to you!
