International Directories Corporation Receive frequent faxed invoices that have my signature cut and pasted on a past due notice. New York New York
Been receiving faxes frequently since 11/07 from these people. The fax has my signature cut and pasted on a past due invoice. It is really my signature and this leads me to believe that International Directories Corporation has someone connected to a ligitimate company and that someone is helping themselves to maybe a sideline business or some such.
At first the invoices had no return addresses, phone or fax numbers and lately the faxes are including an address but still no phone, fax or e-mail, just telling past due and send $249.00 to be included in the National Contractors Directory. Luckily, my staff passed fax to me thinking since I ordered it, I would surely have the correct mailing address to write the check to. My staff may have just paid it if International Directories were smart enough to include address on first fax.
In the future, prior to faxing anything with my signature, I will phone ahead and get names of at least a warm body to hold responsible. Also, do not pay any invoices or statements received via the fax.
